The student will be provided training in a professional setting by well-trained and highly experienced instructors.
Each driving lesson fee for class 5/7 is $50/hour and for class 4 $60/hour including taxes in Surrey. If you live beyond 92 Ave 120 Street, 92 Ave 152 Street, and beyond 120 Street, 152 Street of Surrey, the price of a driving lesson will vary based on location. A 10-lesson package is $500.
The duration of each practical driving lesson is 60 minutes. The last 5 minutes of this 60-minute lesson will be dedicated to debriefing.
At the time of each practical driving lesson, one instructor and only one student driver (a total of two persons) can sit inside the car. At times one student may sit in the back seat for observation. Family members are not permitted to accompany the student driver in the car during the lesson.
The road test fee package for class 4/5/7 includes pickup and drop-off from home before and after the test. It also includes car rental for the road test. Students must provide a valid BC learner's driver's license or driver's license, including a foreign one, before every lesson.
Road tests can be booked either by the student or by Ali's Driving School. If Ali's Driving School is requested to book the road test, the student must sign a consent and release form.
Ali's Driving School cannot and does not guarantee that the student will successfully pass the road test examination given by the Division of Motor Vehicles upon completing the course. However, the school agrees to exert its best efforts in teaching the student how to become a safe driver and fulfill the Division of Motor Vehicles requirements.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
There will be no refund for lessons that have already been given. If a package is purchased, only the remaining lessons will be refunded upon written request. The lessons taken will be charged at the regular rate.
To cancel a lesson, 48-hour notice is required or 50% of the lesson fee will be charged. There will be no cancellation fee in case of a COVID situation. However, the written proof is required.
